Almost Done!

So I saw the doctor yet again today and everything again looks good. I do have to start going in for weekly NST's now. So I'll be in the doctors office twice a week. Lucky me...NOT! NST's are not my favorite thing. Oh well. My doctor and I also disgust being induced. With his size she feels its best if I am induced so we set a date :) I'm not going to tell anyone because of the game. Yes I know being induced defeats the purpose of the game BUT you still can guess on the weight/height and time. So it will still be fun. And hey Baby could always come before I'm induced so you never know ;p

Our Birthday Girl

Happy 2nd Birthday Baby Girl!!! I can't believe Allie is officially 2. She's growing up so fast.
Well I took her into her 2 year check up today and she's doing great! Didn't even need to get any shots because she's up to date on them (wont have to worry about any shots {other than the flu shot} till she's 4 years old). Here are her stats at 2 years old:

Weight: 23.6 pounds - 12th percentile
Height: 32 1/2 inches - 23rd percentile
Head: 18.5 inches - 39th percentile
Weight/Height: 26th percentile

So she doing great! And as for her talking the doctor said I don't need to put her in speech therapy if I don't want to. She's saying enough words that we don't see any concern. But I might just put her in just to help her along. Still haven't decided yet?

She did really well this year at opening her presents by herself.

And since we don't have any family out here to help celebrate I put together a little party for Allie. I just invited the friends that she still has here. It was fun getting together with everyone. She loves playing with her neighborhood friends. I'm going to be sad when we all part ways.
But we love are baby girl and are so proud of all that she's done these past two years. Happy Birthday sweetheart we love you!!!

Umm...Ouch!

I went in for my weekly dr appt yesterday and things are still the same as last week. I did have her check my cervix since I keep having people tell me I need her to look - she could barely get her finger tip in so no dilation which is good I guess. Baby is still measuring small and she's got a feeling that I might have to deliver early so I had to get the steriod shot to help mature his lungs. I got it with with Allie so I knew the drill - but holy COW!!! I totally forgot how much it actually hurt. I got the other half today and I just wanna cry. My butt hurts so bad - both cheeks now :( As my mom said "the things we do for our kids" ;) Oh while I was waiting for the nurse to come get me today for the shot I looked at my chart and noticed that a week ago I weighed 113 pounds and yesterday/today I weigh 110 pounds. So I lost 3 pounds. My doctor didnt say anything about it but I'll bring it up on Monday at my next appointment. I'm hoping I gain the weight back so we'll see....

32 Weeks

Yesterday I saw my doctor. I had so many questions for her, poor lady was there for like 10 minutes answering them all ;p But hey that's what she's for - right! I was really concerned with all the contrations I've been having and she says its normal but if I have more than 6 an hour I need to head to L&D. So I guess I just have to put up with them till he arrives. Well baby is doing good. Still head down which I'm always happy to hear! He still growing, slowly though. He is measuring around 3 pounds 5 ounces, so small just like Allie. But I'm going weekly now so that my doctor can check my fluid levels and the umbilical cord also his size.

When I got home I showed Allie the pictures and she kept pointing to them and saying "baby". She's getting more and more excited to meet her little brother

Bday Dinner/ Airport

Sunday, the day we left, my mom had a dinner for Allie and I for our birthdays. It was nice to get together with some of the family before we left. I sure am going to miss everyone. But I will get to see my mom next month when baby comes and then my dad and maybe sister are coming out for Thanksgiving and to see the baby. So we'll get to see family again. Thanks for letting us visit everyone, it was fun!!!

New Nephew

My sister in law, Lisa, had her baby while I was visiting home. She had him 2 weeks early - so I joked with Lisa that he wanted to see me so he came early :) Ha! He is such a cute little guy and holding him makes me so much more excited to meet our little guy. Congrats Doug and Lisa, we are so excited for you and can't wait to see him again.

Friends and Bumps

I was able to go see two of my friends that are also expecting. Lindsey is due a month before me (with a girl) and Julie is due 3 weeks before me (with a boy). I was excited to see them and see how different we all looked (belly wise ;p). It was also fun to see Julie's little girl, Claire and Allie play together again. I'm sure they dont remember each other from earlier but they were still cute ;p

Saturday Aug 28th we went to a wedding for my step dad's nephew. It was a nice ceremony and I'm so excited for Val and Dani! Congrats you two!!!

Whitney and I took Allie to the Gateway for the first time to play in the fountains. Ha! She wanted NOTHING to do with them. But it was still fun to go and do some shopping and have some girl time. And I found out Allie has a love for ketchup (gross!)

Labor day weekend, well Monday 9/6, my dad took Allie and I and Bree to Silver Lake. I don't remember going there when I was younger but it's a pretty place. While we walked around the lake I experienced a couple contractions =/ and some were pretty painful. And ever since then I've been having a couple a day. So maybe our lil guy will come early :) (hopefully!)

Surprise Baby Shower

Saturday, Sept 4th-
My mom and I along with Allie planned a trip to Logan so I could see some family and to go to the "Farmers Market" so I could look at baby stuff. My mom said she had to go see a friend and would have Matt and Mandy take us to the market so we stopped by their place and when I walked in I saw blue streamers, cup cakes, pizza and other "BLUE" stuff in their kitchen. I seriously though "Oh no.. We are walking in on a party, hope we don't disturb anything/one." HaHa!! It wasn't until I walked into the living room and saw some of my family and then it hit me, This is a baby shower for me ;p It was so fun to see family and catch up. Thank you so much Mandy!!!

Zoo Trip

Friday, Sept 3rd -
My mom, Allie, Breanna and I headed to the zoo. I always love going to the zoo and Allie had so much more fun this time because she's a bit older and loved looking at the animals.




This guy was pretty awesome. I've never seen such a big turtle before. He was super cute too!
