Allie's Dr Visit

Allie had her 6 month check up yesterday. She is doing great! Her doctor said that we no longer need to worry about her head. It is still a little uneven but as she grows it'll even out. I'm happy to hear this because her doctor found out that a helmet went from $800 to $1600. Crazy!!! Also she has slits in her gums so we should be expecting her teeth to pop through anytime. I'm excited!!! She will look so cute with her little teeth ;p Well as for her stats:

Weight: 15 lbs 6 oz 45%
Height: 25 1/4 in 50%
Head: 41.7 cm 50%

So she is pretty much an average baby. She is perfectly healthy! Todd wasn't at this appointment this time so I had to stand by Allie and watch her get her shots. It was really hard for me. My mom did go with me but it still was hard. You never like to see you children in pain.

Yesterday my aunt Angie also left to go back to Australia. It was so much fun having her here. We are going to miss her so much. Todd and I are saving up so that we can go over there. Todd hasn't met the rest of the Auzzie family and I really would like them to meet him as well as Allie. And I haven't see my Nana in such a long time. So it'll be fun to go. But Angie we loved having you here and can't wait to see you again.

Welcome Home Netty!

Yesterday Todd, Allie and I decided to head up to Logan to go to Mandy's (my brothers girlfriend) dance concert and then we would just hang out after wards. Since we had to be in Logan for my cousins homecoming today we just decided why not go up and hit two birds with one stone ;p Todd and I didn't get to see much of Mandy's dancing. We went in and sat down and once the orchestra started the music Allie just started to scream. The drums, symbols, and other loud instruments scared the crap out of her. I felt so bad. So Todd took her out and then I went out 10 songs later. Matthew taped her last dance for me so I could see it. It was nice. She is such a good dancer.

Then today we all went to my Aunt Paula's ward and listened to my cousin Annette speak for her homecoming. She just served her mission in Arizona and we are so excited to have her home. We Todd and I arrived at my aunts house last night to spend the night Annette was still up so she was able to meet Allie for the first time. After Annette spoke we had a luncheon and were able to catch up with her and the rest of the family.
Two weeks ago when Allie and I came up to Logan for her test thing to help out my brother I went to see my grandma and asked her if she would make Allie a quilt that was a bit bigger than the one she made her when she was born. She had me pick out the material and said she'd have it done by the homecoming. And it turned out so cute!!! I love it!!! And she said when this one gets too small that she'll make Allie a much bigger one :)

6 Months!!!

Allie is 6 months old today!!! I can't believe in another 6 months my baby girl will be one. Time is flying by to fast. It really needs to slow down a bit. But here is what Allie has been up to this month:

*She is doing so much better with her sitting now. She can sit by herself for a while without support. Soon she'll be sitting up straight and all by herself without any help from mommy or daddy.
* She likes being on her stomach a lot more now a days
* Since she has started to enjoy being on her tummy she's trying to learn how to crawl. She can't quite bring her knees up so she just ends up going in circles. But it is still cute
* She is still sleeping through the night which Todd and I are thankful for
* She has discovered her voice now. She loves to yell as loud as she can.
* There are days where she is so cuddly/clingy that she will not let us put her down. She will cry until we pick her back up.
* She prefers her thumb over her binki now
* She can roll from her tummy to back and it now trying to roll back to tummy. She has rolled back to tummy once but her arm gets in the way and it seems to stop her
*She does not like peas or green beans. Her favorite baby food is: sweet potatoes and squash. She also loves bananas and applesauce. I'm excited to let her try stage 2 foods
* When Allie sees the red light on the camera go on she automatically smiles. It's the cutest thing.

Twilight Party!!!

Last night I went to one out of the MANY Twilight Parties here in Utah with my sister and a friend in the ward, Shannon. We went to the Riverton Walmart where they ended up having Rachelle Lefevre also known as Victoria signing autographs. It was pretty awesome. We arrived at Walmart around 8:30pm and had to wait in line FOREVER!!! While we were waiting the employees passed out food and drinks and up at the front of the store they were passing out cake, popcorn, sandwiches, punch, fruit etc... it was so sweet and delicious. Yum! They should treat us like that every day ;p We didn't get to see Rachelle until about 11:30ish but it was so worth the wait. My sister in law, Lisa was closer to the front so we gave her our books just to make sure Rachelle would get them signed. Then when we got up there we had her sign our DVDs. After she signed our movies, we had to get in line and wait till midnight to buy them. I think we only waited about 20 minutes and then another 15 -20 minutes to check out. So it wasn't as bad. But I had so much fun and I totally would do it all over again. Especially if it was Edward :) After we paid for our movies we ended up heading over to the Walmart at Jordan Landing to get some pictures with the Edward cut out. There was a crew there that was "suppose" to be the gang from Twilight but they looked nothing like them so we didn't get our pictures with them. Just with beautiful Edward! We ended up getting home about a quarter to 2am. All three of us had a blast and I can't wait to do this with the next movie(s)! Oh I forgot to mention, the line was so long. We got there and it was at the garden area before Rachelle started signing it was clear on the other side of the store by the food area. Crazy huh! I couldn't believe it. Rachelle was only there till 1am so I wonder how many actually got an autograph?

Our Little Scientist

Sunday night Breanna and I along with Allie decided to go up to Logan. Because Monday morning Allie was taking part of a test thing for her uncle Matt to help out his college friends. All she had to do was watch a computer screen while a ball bounced up and down. Well Allie didn't watch the screen. She was into what was going on around her in the dark room ;p But she still did good. She didn't fuss until the very end. For participating they gave her a certificate and her choice of a toy. She took the rattle. After the test was complete Allie and I went with Matt and Mandy to one of Matthews college classes. So now Allie can officially say she's been to college :) Although she did sleep through the lecture except the last 5 minutes, but that's okay.

My cousin Trina and Aunt Paula. Allie just loved playing with Trina's popcorn bag

Matt with Allie just after the test. Allie is also holding her new rattle for doing the test

Wisdom tooth be gone

So yesterday I had my one and only wisdom tooth removed. Now I've had teeth removed before but that was ages ago so I really don't remember what it was like. Oh man all I can say is OUCH!!! But I am so happy they knocked me out. Even though it was just one tooth. I tried to sleep after the surgery yesterday but it was hard with my sister being over watching Allie and playing with her and my husband home from work watching Allie as well and playing games. Oh well. My face is starting to bruise and swell. Sad! I was telling my dad that I don't know how people do it when they get all 4 removed. I am having a hard time with just one. I keep bumping it and Allie does too. I am just happy they gave me some pain killers or I'd be in so much more pain. Well Todd took some pictures of me yesterday so I thought I'd post them. Yes they are a little embarrassing but that's okay ;p

Todd took this with my phone while I was recovering

Allie stole my ice pack

All drugged up

You can see my right side is starting to swell :(
