Fit for a Princess!!!

I finally was able to decorate Allie's room with a "Princess" theme. We put the kids beds together a week or so ago and they look great! I love how Allie's room turned out! I just wish that the bed was white but the brown bunk bed will do for now ;p

I've been collecting the princess Pez dispencers for this reason. I am missing 3(Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, and Pocahontas) and I believe I'll have all of them

"ITZ" What Fun Is

Yesterday we as a family went to IT'Z (which is like Chuck E Cheese) and had so much fun! Todd's dad was here for the holiday weekend and so he was able to go with us as well. I think we'll be going there monthly just because we had so much fun. But here are some pictures I took with my phone - so they aren't that great but enjoy...

Very first thing Allie did was bowling. It was so cute that they had this small little bowling alley - perfect for little kids.

This rocket machine is where we won most of the tickets.

Allie won 40 tickets on this and then daddy won 200. It was so cool to watch. Daddy just hit the "stop" button and it landed on 200, we were all so impressed!

School Here We Come!

Allie started preschool this week, yesterday in fact. I'd been dreading the day she starts for about two/three weeks now. I was worried one of two things: her not wanting to stay there without me with her or she'd never wanna come home since she had so much fun. Well I didn't need to worry. She did great her first day and had fun with all her new friends. And today her class had a Valentines Day party and she got some fun and cute valentines from her classmates. She was so excited to show me and daddy.

So the school that Allie goes to is about 8 miles away, which makes it a 15-20 (depends on how fast I drive) minute drive away and she goes Monday thru Thursday 8am - 11am. Well with it being that far away (as well as town being the same distance) its a killer on gas. So the district has offered to let the preschoolers ride the bus. Now I'm like "what?? letting a 3 year old on a bus is nuts!" but I will tell you this...Allie got so mad at me yesterday and today after school when she couldn't go on the bus with her friends. So I have decided that I will take her in the mornings and then she can ride the bus home. Tomorrow will be her first ride home on the bus so I'm super nervous about it but I have met the bus driver and I'm positive she'll look after my baby till she gets home. So we'll see how it goes.

Zachary's 15 Month Check up

Zach man turned 15 months on 1-17-12 but I wasn't able to get him in for his appointment till yesterday. But that's okay. Better late than never right??? Well he is looking and doing pretty good. His doctor said he is still a tad bit behind but he also said that boys tend to hit milestones later than girls, but the doctor still wants Zach to be seen by the home therapy people again at 18 months (the ones that saw him back in December). But other than that he's doing great! I'm so proud of him!!! As far as his stats go:

Weight: 18lbs 8oz (0%)
Height: 29.5in (6%)
Head: 45.5cm (9%)

So he is still on the little side but that's okay. We also bought Zachary a new car seat and he loves it. When he falls asleep in it he doesn't slouch in it like his old one and that makes Todd and I feel so much better. Plus its the same as big sisters but hers is purple and Z's is black ;p

Snowy Snowy Fun

Last week Denver and Colorado Springs go hit with a snow storm. Since we've lived here in Colorado, we haven't had much snow and this storm pretty much made up for it. I took some pictures as it was beginning but not once it finished and now I'm regretting it. But with Todd in training at the moment he had to go spend the night a couple nights ago at a friends place because they closed Schriever and some other roads. So if he stayed home he would of been in trouble :-/ But anyways...




Ever since the snow storm Allie bug's been asking to go out and build a "snownan" and I finally let her go out and play in it yesterday. She had so much fun! She and Maggie ran all over the backyard and in the snow. By the time she was done she had the rosiest checks! Next time Zachary and I will go out and play with her.
