Logan Fun and Sick Baby Girl

So here I am up on a Monday morning at 3:35am. Allie is sick with a cold. She hasn't really ever been sick before. She's gotten a fever a couple of times due to her shots and she's maybe gotten a cold once but other than that she's rarely ever sick. But with that she woke up today with a super runny nose, small cough and a temp of a 100.3. I put her to bed a little after 8:30pm and here it is a quarter to 4am and she is still in her bed tossing and turning and making noises for me to come and get her. So since I'm up I thought I'd blog about Saturday. We went up to Logan with my dad so we could have a birthday dinner for Matt and Mandy. And since we were up there I thought that Allie and I could say our goodbyes to our family up there. We went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. It wasn't that great due to the hour and a half wait but it was nice to be with family. I think the hardest part was saying goodbye to everyone. I sure am going to miss you guys! After dinner my dad took Matt and Mandy to Smiths to do some food shopping. And while they were looking around I told my dad about how Allie likes to push the shopping cart, well Matt got a video of Allie pushing the cart on his phone so I thought I'd post it so you all could see it. And then this evening Matt and Mandy stopped by and dropped off the movie "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs" for me to watch. I called my dad over to watch it with me since the two had to go over to Mandy's parents for a birthday dinner. But I liked the movie it was super cute. I didn't find it as funny as Matt did but I think I will buy it for our movie collection :) After Matt and Mandy had dinner they came back over here and hung out for a little while and then I had to say my goodbyes to them. This was probably the last time I will see them for who knows how long? I love watching how Allie interacts with Matt and Mandy and it just breaks my heart that she is going to miss out that aunt/uncle time with them.

Dinner with the Girls

Well with Allie and I moving in two weeks, my friends and I decided we would get together before I left. We got together last night for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. It was nice to sit there and relax and catch up and just to chat. Allie and Claire would sometimes chat with each other but other than the two were in their own little world ;p But thanks girls for getting together, it was fun and I sure am going to miss you tons!!!

Then today after my mom was done with her work she came over to our place to spend some time with us. Then Nana, Allie and I went out to dinner to TGI Fridays. Thanks for spending the evening with us mom, it was fun!

Happy Birthday Matt and Mandy!

I just want to wish my brother, Matt a happy birthday! His birthday is today :) and then Wednsday is my sister in law, Mandys birthday. So Happy Birthday you two!!!

Congrats Daddy!!!

Todd passed his phase written and uniform test in AIT :) Which puts him at phase 5! Now when Allie and I move out there he can come home on the weekends. Next phase is 5+ and he will be able to come home and spend the night and then I'll have to take him to school/work. I can't wait for that stage :) But it looks like Allie and I will be moving out there next month once I file our taxes I can't wait HOORAY!!!

25 Things About Me!

My friend did this so I guess I thought I'd do it as well. It's always fun to do these kinds of things. Plus I haven't done a tag thing in quite a while. So here goes:

1. I love being a stay at home mom
2. I have a beautiful one year old daughter
3. I have been married to my wonderful husband for over 3 years now!
4. I have never broken a bone (knock on wood)
5. I love love love spending money - this is one of my bad habits
6. I am a proud army wife
7. I am proud to say I have been a caffeine free drinker for almost 2 years now! I would like to stop drinking carbonation all together but I love my Sprite too much
8. My favorite dessert is brownies. But the only part of a brownie I really like is the edges.
9. I love to sleep. If I could sleep 24/7 I'm sure I would.
10. I am the oldest out of my brother and sister. And if you add my step brother and sister into the mix I still am the oldest.
11. I absolutely hate flying!!!
12. My favorite holiday of all is Thanksgiving
13. I don't like anything about snow and can't wait to get away from it
14. I don't like getting stuck in traffic or behind slow drivers. It bugs the heck outta me. I love driving fast, so stay outta my way ;p
15. I've been pulled over twice since I've turned 16. Both times I was only given a warning. (knocking on wood again)
16. I am trying to go back to my natural color -blonde- but I always end up dying it a darker brown because my husband loves it dark
17. Even though I'm 26 I've been told by people I look 16/17. It bugs me but what can I do?
18. I love to read books and will read almost anything
19. I'm not a big fan of cooking but since it's just Allie and I have gotten use to it (well sort of)
20. I get a little disappointed when I get the mail and there's nothing for me
21. I am not a big sports fan but I love watching the Super Bowl with my husband
22. I don't really like watching movies in the movie theater. I'd prefer to watch the movie once it comes to DVD. That way I can use the subtitles and rewind it if I need too.
23. While driving I love listening to music. It helps make the drive go by faster
24. I love playing board games with family and friends
25. I can't go to bed without my bear from Todd. I also have to push his paw about 5 times just so I can hear Todds voice. I even will be snuggling with it once Todd and I are back together again. I love my bear!!!

Eeek!!

So I got a text from Todd today. It actually was a picture message. Before I opened it I was thinking of what it could be: a picture of him, of his buddies, or of a gun or something cool that he wanted to show off. But I saw this when I opened it:

A cockroach - GROSS!!! When Todd and I talked while he was in basic he told me they had these cockroaches in their barracks running around all the time. And they are running around in their rooms in AIT. Gross! That's one thing I'm not looking forward to about moving out east is the big bugs.
Well as for us moving out east, its not looking to good right now. We were in the process of getting an apartment for the end of this month but when the apartment complex got our application they called us and told us that the next one wont be available till March. So now we are applying for housing on post. So hopefully the waiting list isn't too long.

New Moon

I finally saw New Moon today. I can't believe it's taken me this long to see it. With Twilight I saw it the weekend it came out. Oh well. I'm just glad I got to see it in the theater. I loved the movie and thought it was way better than the first one. Although I almost fell asleep durning this one and I'm not sure why? It still was good though. Thanks for going with me Breanna and dad thanks for watching Allie - I know you two had a fun time together :)

Daddy's Gone Once Again

Here I am once again up late at night. Todd left for Georgia earlier this morning. I didn't think it would be as hard as it was with it being my third time saying goodbye to him but it just made it hard for me. These past two weeks were really great. I really am missing him and Allie keeps going around saying "dada, dada". And whenever she hears a car honk she looks at the window/door and says "dada". I am trying to be strong for Allie and for Todd. But I will for sure be applying for apartments this week. I already have to applications that I can fax so hopefully we can get one of them and be out to Todd by the end of the month. So please keep your fingers crossed that we can get one.
