29 Weeks...

Almost there :) Can't believe when Friday hits I'll be 30 weeks along and we'll have 10 or less weeks to go. This pregnancy has gone by so fast! Makes me think about having one more ... NOT!! ;p
Well I saw my doctor today and she actually shocked me by not doing an ultrasound. She said she didn't need to do one since she did one two weeks ago. Which is funny since she was so worried about his growth ;p But she'll be doing one when I get back for sure. We listened to his heart beat and it was super strong! And I got the okay to fly home so we are good to go :)

Whats been going on

Not much is going on at the moment. I've actually be a little busy taking care of Allie. In the previous post I mentioned she developed some spots on her little body and we weren't sure what caused them? Some had faded but others got worse and bigger so I took her to see her doctor on Friday and she was totally stumped as to what they were and what caused them. So she gave us some antibiotics to try and by Saturday they were disappearing. I was so happy to see them fading. They were making Allie miserable. We also decided to find Calvin, our kitten, a new home just in case Allie developed an allergy to him. The doctor said its possible that he gave her "Cat Scratch Disease" or that she is just allergic to him but I wasn't taking any chances. But we found him a good home. Allie wasn't too happy about him leaving but its for the best. As for Allie she's doing so much better now. She still has a small cough and the sniffles but other than that she's back to herself. Which makes mommy very very happy!

Tuesday of last week, Todd and I celebrated our 4th anniversary. Cant believe its been 4 years...Crazy!!!

We are still trying to get use to Todd's new school schedule. He has the night shift. So he's in school from 12am to 630am and then has PT (physical training) at 9am and then formation at 1pm. So its a crazy one. Its also hard to keep Allie quiet during the day so he can get his sleep so he's rested for school. But as Todd told me this schedule is the best one since he's got appointments during the day and he can only miss 3 class periods. It also will be good for when the baby arrives. That way if I have a bad night he can watch Allie and the baby and let me get some sleep during the day. Its just going to take time for all of us to get use too. And still no orders but we'll let you know as soon as we get them.

I'm 28 weeks now and I'm so exhausted! I literally have NO energy to do anything. I just want to sleep 24/7. I remember with Allie I had some energy in the third trimester, but maybe that's because I was working and I was forced to get up and do stuff? Who knows?? Also the baby is kicking/moving so much its making me sick :( I love that he moves and all but he moves so much that it upsets my stomach and it makes me want to throw up. Weird I know? I'll probably talk to my doctor about that when I see her Tuesday. I'll also find out if baby is growing better on Tuesday since I'm now going every two weeks. Cross your fingers he is ;p If not I'll just have to deal with it.

And lastly --> Allie and I are coming home for two weeks!!! Yipee! We are so so excited! We will be there from August 27th to September 12th, so we will want to see everyone that we can. If you wanna see us let me know :) I'm actually little nervous about flying this time. I hate flying in general but this time I'll be alone with Allie (last time my mom was with me) and I'll be 30 weeks pregnant so we'll see how it goes ;p

Doctor Visits

Allie: Monday I took Allie to the ER because I thought she had the chicken pox. Over the weekend she developed quite a few red spots on her arms/legs/back/face and it just looked like chicken pox to me. Well the doctors are pretty sure its not the chicken pox (which is good!!) but they aren't sure what it is? They just told me to keep an eye on the spots and gave me a cream for the ones that really irritate her. The spots don't seem to bother Allie that much except a couple and it looks like they are slowly fading away but I just hope they leave scars or anything.

Mommy: Tuesday I had my regular OB appointment. It started out okay and then my doctor did the ultrasound - measured baby and found out his abdomen is measuring smaller than she likes. So she wants to see me bi weekly or weekly (depending on how he is growing). I told her at the beginning of this pregnancy that I "make" small baby's ;p and this baby most likely will be on the small side but I guess she didn't believe me. But other than that baby is doing good. He's head down, which I was happy to hear. And once again the doctor couldn't believe how active he was. It was hard for her to get the measurements with him moving around so much. I told her he was like that 24/7 ;p I didn't get any pictures of baby this week :( so all you get is my belly.

27 Weeks - it looks like baby has moved up a bit.

Virginia Trip

This past week we took a trip up to Virginia to spend a couple days with Todd's brother and his family. It was so nice getting out of Georgia but I didn't enjoy the 7 hour car ride up there. We had fun though. We went to see a movie (Allies first time going to the movies ;p), went to the Children's Museum, hung out at the mall, did some swimming and jumping on the trampoline. Allie had a blast playing with her cousins and can't wait till we can see them again. Thanks Robby and Carrie for letting us come and play :)

First Battle Wound

The day after we got Calvin, Allie came running up to me crying. I wasn't sure why? So I looked at her hands (since she was holding them up) and gave them kisses and gave her a cuddle. I pulled her away after a minute and looked at her face to make sure she was okay and first thing I noticed was her EYE. It was red and bleeding. I was like "what happened??? And I still don't know what happened? I'm guessing she was chasing the cat and fell and hit the corner of the coffee table. She got very lucky she didn't hit her actual eye. I'm very thankful it was just a black eye and nothing more serious. I think these pictures are the day after it happened.

This is a little late but, after 100+ hours of school, Todd has graduated from AIT. And Allie and I are proud of him! He started his 1Chuck training today and that's about another 4 months. Good Luck Honey with the training and we love you!

25 Weeks

I'm actually 26 weeks now but last week I went for my follow up ultrasound. Baby looks good :) He's measuring right on for once (unlike Allie) and is about 1lb 10oz. The tech did another 3D ultrasound for me. They are so fun to see in real time. Just makes me wish it was November ;p I did have a little scare during the exam though. Not even 5 minutes into the scan I started having a hard time breathing. I didn't think much of it and tried to push the thought out of my mind. But as the minutes went by it got harder and harder for me to breath and I just started to panic. I ended up having a panic attack and my blood pressure dropped and I almost passed out right there on the table. It took a good 10 - 15 minutes for me to recover. I felt bad for the tech because she didn't know what was going on. One minute I'm laying there talking and next I'm panicking. I talked to the nurse and she thinks that the baby was laying on a blood vessel that was preventing blood from getting to or from my brain and there for the lack of oxygen. So from now on I have to keep my legs bent when I have ultrasounds (advise from the nurse). But other than the panic attack, everything went well :)
