Thanks!!!

Well we've got the house pretty much all put together. HOORAY!!! Todd and I just wanted to tell those that helped us getting the place ***THANKS*** A special thanks goes out to Doug, my brother in law, there is no way we could have gotten it with out you and Spencer(our loan officer). Todd and I owe you two BIG! And then to those who helped us move thank you so much for helping us. I know it was a lot of work but it was worth it. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!! Todd and I are just so excited about this big moved and we just want the whole world to know about it. People are probably getting sick and tired of hearing about it and I'm really sorry about that but I cant stop talking about it... just give it a couple of months then I wont be so giddy about the new place.

My First Car Accident

Every time I'd hear people say they've been in an accident I'd say "I'm so glad that hasn't happened to me" or "Yeah, I've never been in one. Knock on wood." Well on July 6th on our way to close Todd and I got into my first car accident. With it being my first I was in total shock. I was shaking and crying. I couldn't believe some one hit us. I was just glad that neither Todd or I were hurt The driver of the other car wasn't hurt either. But I was really upset about the car. We had just got it 4 months ago and its the car that I had always wanted. So yeah, I was a little bit upset that it got hit so soon. I know it was only a minor wreck but... Its my car. And when I found out how much it was going to be to fix it I was worried that it would never get fixed. But Todd let me take it into the shop to get it fixed. It was in the shop for 11 business days and it looks as if nothing hit it. Not that I didn't enjoy driving the rental car but I missed my car and I'm excited to have it back!!!

The Mackays

Well, I have seen my friends do these blogs and I've decided that I should do one as well. That way my family over in Australia can see how I am doing as well as my friends and other family members. Plus it just looks like fun and something to do. Well my name is Melinda and I am 23. And my husbands name is Todd and he is 20. We have been married for almost a year and have been loving every minute of our marriage. We just bought our first house this past month and think its the greatest move ever!! I'll post some pictures up as soon as we get the place all put together. We are planning on getting sealed in the temple in a year or so and then once we get sealed we will plan on starting a family. And we have 2 fun pets: a Border Collie Mix named Pepper, and a Tabbie cat named Daisy. Both get along with each other very well and both love the new place :o)
