Ultrasound Pictures!!!

With me having weekly doppler scans, growth scans (every 3 weeks) and NSTs (coming up) I'm going to be having so many ultrasounds. I've had 2 already since my last "baby" update and thought I'd post them. We got some great pictures :o)

24 Weeks!

Weight Gain: 119lbs ... So I've gained 2lbs from my pre-pregnancy

Gender: Its a Girl!!!

Stretch Marks?: None

Belly Button in/out?: Its on its way to being out but still in

Movement?: Plenty of movement to let me know she's still there :)

Symptoms?: The usually morning sickness, bloody noses, headaches, braxton hicks contractions

Cravings?: Wendy's Lemonade (yum!), fruits, and lots and lots of chocolate!!!

Size of Baby: Baby is the size of an EAR OF CORN

So I had my 6 week ultrasound yesterday. Baby S is measuring a week behind, like I knew she would. She's measuring at 23 weeks and weighs 1lbs 4oz and is in the 8th percentile for growth (during an ultrasound). Now I'm NOT worried at all!! Allie and Zachary were both a week behind at this point in my pregnancies with them so I figured baby S would too. Well the doctor I saw was so upset that baby was a WEEK behind and said that I needed weekly scans of the umbilical cord (called doppler ultrasound) to make sure there was blood flow from the placenta to the baby, get growth scans every 3 weeks and once I hint 28 weeks I have to go in 2x week for NSTs.

Well, I saw my OB doctor today ... Heard baby's heartbeat: sounds great!! My tummy is measuring at 22 weeks (no surprise there) and I am now on an anti-depressant (boo!) for my depression and moodiness but over all she is happy with me and baby! We did go over the report from yesterdays ultrasound and she does want me to do the weekly doppler ultrasounds, growth scans every 3 weeks and NST's at 28 weeks (but I'll have those done Evans Hospital so I can be close to my doctor). So I guess I'll just do them. We also scheduled my induction date - so I know when Sydnee is going to be born (unless her growth worsens) but I'm not telling anyone at the moment. LOL!! Next visit (will be at 28 weeks) I have to do the dreaded glucose test - drink - and then I start going every 2 weeks. Crazy that I'm almost to that point!!!

Our "Tiny" Dancer

I FINALLY signed our little Allie bug up for dance! I have been looking for a place for her to go for quite a while but every where I looked was just so expensive until recently I found an awesome place here in the Springs and we signed her up for the "Spring" semester. She will be taking Rhythm & Rhyme which is a mixture of ballet, jazz and tumbling so it'll be fun to see what they do.
Wednesday was her first day of dance class! Her teacher is so great. She had so much patients for ALL three of the girls that were there. I'm looking forward to getting to know her teacher - Anda - better and see how she works with Allie. As for Allie, she had so much fun and I had fun watching her! She looks so cute in her outfit! I cant wait for May to come - that when her recital is. Ya!!

Musical Rooms

With the new baby coming and all the new Christmas toys the kids got, we decided to move the kids into new rooms. So we moved Allie into the playroom, Zachary into Allie's old room and the playroom/nursery into Zacharys old room. It was alot of work but the rooms turned out great! I'm happy with how they look and the kids love them.

Toy Room/Nursery:
(still in the process of decorating(needs crib bedding and wall decorations) but this is what it looks like as of now)

Zacharys *new* room:

Christmas 2012 Wrap Up

We had a great Christmas "last" year. The kids sure got spoiled :) Sadly I didn't take a picture of all their toys grouped together, like I usually do, I just took a picture of every toy they unwrapped so there are LOTS of pictures... So I tried to do a couple collages but there turned out to be more than a few but that's okay!
The kids opening their one gift on Christmas Eve .. New PJ's

Getting Santa's cookies and Reindeer's oranges ready (we didn't have carrots so we gave them oranges), and in bed ready for Santa's visit!

Santa came!!!

Checking out their new load and starting to open presents

These gifts were from Grandpa Olsen and Aunt Breanna

The gift in the upper left is also from Gpa O and Aunt B. The "bug" thing is from Gpa Mackay

Breakfast: Overnight French Toast. Was easy to make and was pretty good too but I dont think I'm going to make it a Christmas Breakfast tradition.

After breakfast mommy and daddy opened their gifts while the kids played with their new toys
