Easter At Nanas

After the egg hunt at our place with my dad, we headed over to Nana's to have another egg hunt over there. Cousins Claire and Kenzie were there as well but I didn't get any pictures of them. But they all had a good time and got some good goodies as well. But all I can say is I'm so glad Easter is over!

I tried to get a group shot of the kiddos in their Sunday best but the two younger kids, Zachary and Sydnee, weren't having it. So these are the best ones I got of them.

Easter With GPa Olsen

We had Grandpa Olsen (aka my dad), Auntie Breanna, Uncle Matt, Auntie Mandy and cousin Claire over at our place for some Easter lunch and a Easter egg hunt. The hunt for the goodies was awesome! Zachary, Allie and Claire had so much fun looking for everything and little Sydnee sat on the side line and just watched everyone hunt for their stuff. The kids sure did get a lot of great stuff from grandpa, they sure did get spoiled :) Oh you know how I mentioned I was sick in the previous post well guess what... I passed that stomach bug thingy onto Matt! Poor guy got it pretty bad too :(

Easter @ Home

We didn't do a Easter egg hunt at home this year since the kids were having a hunt with Grandpa Olsen and at Nanas. So we kept it simple. Unfortunately I had to stay home from church due to a stomach bug that I had but I had my mom take the kids to sacrament for me. I rested as much as I could before they got home and I also got the Easter stuff done in time as well. Once they got home they saw what the Easter Bunny brought and checked it all out.

Dying Eggs

We normally use hard boiled eggs to dye with, but this year I saw some "fake" eggs so I just used those instead. I also bought a fun spin thing for them to try out and sadly it didn't work out how I thought it would but the kids still had fun using it. But next year I think we'll go back to using hard boiled eggs and the regular dye that we get in the kits.

Easter Photo Shoot

So I wanted to get professional pictures of the kids in their Easter clothes done but I just never got around to getting it done. So today my mom and I took the kids up to the Oquirrh Mountain temple to do a little photo shoot ourselves. Sadly it was a little chilly so we didn't take as many as I wanted but I think we got a few good shots.
