SHE'S HOME!!!!!

After spending 98 days in the NICU our sweet Sydnee is finally HOME!!!! I can not express how grateful I am to all those who have kept Sydnee and our family in your prayers and who helped out with our other two so Todd and I could be with Sydnee. We are so happy to have our baby girl home and to be a whole family again. 

Sydnee's discharge weight was 6lbs 2oz.

Days Following Surgery

A few days after Sydnee had her surgery, her nurse decided to do a room air test with Sydnee and she did amazing! The nissen really was working and Sydnee no longer needed oxygen.

G-tube and Nissen Surgery

Sydnee ended up having a g-tube/nissen surgery on May 14. She had really bad reflux that would cause her to stop breathing when she'd eat. So the doctors, Todd and I talked and decided it was best to do the surgery and get her home. Having your child go through something like this (especially with her being an infant) is one of the scariest things and I hope I NEVER have to do it again. 

As far as the surgery goes, Sydnee did great and I'm so grateful for her doctor. Sydnee is home now and doing well.

It was hard seeing her like that

They said she'd be intubated for 24-48 hrs but she surprised them and was extubated within 12 hrs.

Happy Due Date!!

Happy Due Date Baby Girl!! Its so crazy to think that Sydnee is almost 3 months and 0 adjusted. She has come so far in her short life, But we are so thankful our little blessing and that she is a part of our family. Now we just need to get her home :) Hopefully we dont have to much long to wait.

Fashonista

Allie loves to dress herself and sometimes some of her outfits are odd but I still love what she wears. I've taken some pictures of what she's worn to show you what kind of fashonista she is.

 

Good Bye Long Hair

I have been growing my hair out for about 2 1/2 years. I haven't cut it, not even a trim since we moved here to Colorado. I finally had the guts to cut it because it was just getting in the way of everything, I wasn't doing it other than leaving it down or putting it up in a ponytail and I was just tired of it. So this weekend I went and chopped it off and was able to donate it to "Locks Of Love". I've always wanted to donate my hair and was happy that I was able to do it :) But I love the way it looks and feels!
