Goodies From Afar

Daddy sent us some yummy treats from Kuwait. The kids loved them and wanted to eat all of them up. Hopefully we can get more sent to us... Hint Hint.

Sleep Over @ Nanas

Since coming back home the two older kids have been taking turns having sleep overs at my moms place when Les is gone for work. While they are there, they do something fun like make cookies, watch a movie or do whatever they want. I'm grateful for my mom doing this because it gives me a break from one less kids and my mom gets to spend one on one time with one of the grand kids. So it works out for the both of us. This time it was Allie bugs turn and she had so much fun, especially when she got to wear Nana's glasses :)

We had a great Christmas. The kids got so many fun new toys and nice clothes. This year was different since Todd wasn't here to celebrate with us. We were able to Skype with him and he got to see the kids open their gifts. Sadly I didn't take any pictures of them opening their presents, but I got some pictures of the tree and presents.

ER Visit #2

After spending 3 "torturous" hours at Primary Children's hospital downtown, they were finally able to get Sydnee's g-tube back in. But I have decided when we see her pediatrician I am going to tell him I want it out and I'm not taking no for an answer. 

ER Visit #1

Sydnee's g-tube got pulled out yesterday. Took her to Primary Children's ER to get it put back in but they weren't able to so, they put in a temporarily tube (ng tube) and we'll see her pediatrician tomorrow to see if they can put it back in. If not then she'll have to have a GI surgeon put it back. I've been an emotional wreck since we got home. Being back at a hospital around machines again brought back so many NICU memories. I am just tired of this g-tube stuff, I just want it gone.

Gingerbread House

This year I bought a gingerbread house kit for the kids to do. They had so much fun putting it together and eating some of the decorations. I think we'll have to do it again next year when Todd is home.
