Through Her Eyes

Allie got a hold of the camera once again and I looked through the pictures she took and thought I'd make a post of them for her ;p So here are some pictures that I call "Looking Through Allie's Eyes".

11 Months!!!

Our sweet baby boy is 11 months today!!! One more month and he'll be turning ONE! I cant believe how fast time is flying. He is such a happy and fun baby and loves playing with his big sister. He's been doing great. Next month we'll hopefully find out if he'll need a "boot" on his foot to help straighten it out so we'll see about that. But until then here's what Zachy boy's been up to over the past month:

* He now has 7 teeth. The seventh one just broke through (4 on top, 3 on bottom)
* He is doing better when he drinks from his sippy cup.
* Zachary loves to say "dada" but throws "mama" in every once in a while.
* Zach isn't a fan of baths again. He does okay once I sit him in the tub but once I pour some water on him he starts to get upset and tries to climb out. Its sad but cute.
* He has a bad case of separation anxiety. He gets so upset when anyone leaves the room he's in.
* He can stand for about 5-15 seconds here or there.
* Zachary loves to walk with his little walker that we have.
* He's started reaching for Todd and I and it's made me so happy.

Never Forget!

Ten years ago I was in my 2nd period photography class and I had a fun time in class like usual (Photography was one of my favorite subjects). We'd just gotten all cleaned up and were waiting for "channel one" to come one. Then that's when we all found out about what had happened. I was in complete shock, I couldn't believe what I was watching. My heart was breaking for those in New York and for their families.
Last night and this morning I started to watch some documentaries about 9/11 and I've just been sobbing through every one I've watched. And the 9/11 Memorial they built in New York is beautiful. I hope to visit it someday.

A friend of mine posted this poem as their status on FaceBook and I just wanted to share it with you all. I got a little teary eyed when I read it so hope it touched your heart like it did mine:

Now I lay me down to sleep...
One less terrorist this world does keep...

Specialist

This week Todd was promoted from Private First Class - PFC (E3) to Specialist - SPC (E4). I am so proud of him and all that he's done for our family and country! Congrats honey on all your accomplishments!!! You've earned it!

We Love Shoes!!!

I finally broke down and bought Allie a new pair of tennis shoes, which BTW she loves! And I also finally bought Zachary some shoes. My mom also bought him some cute little sandals. Now Zach isn't use to them so he's not a fan of them but he looks so cute in them. He's also been able to stand up for 10-15 seconds when he wears them. Which I think is pretty awesome it watch. I also am hoping with him now starting to wear shoes that his left foot will straighten out but I'll get more into that around his 1st birthday after we see the doctor about it again.

Mama's little baker

My mom's step sister or step sisters daughter (cant remember which she is-Sorry!) made Allie and I some cute aprons and so to "break" them in, Allie and I made cupcakes the other day. Allie had so much fun wearing her own apron and helping pour the ingredients in the bowl and stirring. I just love baking with her. Its always fun!

Happy Happy Birthday Toddy Dear

We celebrated Todd's 25th birthday on Saturday :) Not only is the 20th Todd's birthday it's our 3rd anniversary of being sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. I invited our friends, Matt and Elbee, over for some pizza and cake (ice cream cake that is) and just to hang out for the evening, and let Todd play a couple games with Matt. It was a nice evening.

Zachary ended up falling asleep in Elbee's lap/bump. Not sure if he was comfortable or what but he sure looks cute!!! Elbee and Matt are expecting a girl in Nov. and I'm so excited for them!!!

Our Allie Bug

When I was taking Zachs ten month pictures Allie was feeling left out. So I decided to take a couple three year pictures since she'll be 3 next month, crazy huh?!? I just love her smile. She is such a beautiful little girl and I love her so much!!

10 Months!!!

Zachary is 10 months old! Our little baby is almost one, he's growing up so fast it makes me sad. He's doing so great and still is such a great baby. I took him to the doctors yesterday and they happened to weigh him and he's now at 15lbs 7oz. So he's gained weight since 8 months. He's becoming our big boy ;p Here's what our lil Zachy boys been up to over the past months:

*He can say "Mama" and "Dada"
*Zachary now can can walk around furniture really well
*Now that he can pull up on furniture, when I go get him in the mornings or after a nap he is usually standing there waiting for me to get him (like Allie use to do), I love it!
*He doesn't like to get dressed. He tends to fussy and squirm when we try to dress him.
*He also doesn't like his car seat anymore. So we took the infant seat out and put in a convertible one and he seems to be doing better with that one

Want Some Germs???

Well we are home and had a great visit to Utah! Sure was great seeing family and friends. But we sure are happy to be in our own place again. We haven't been up to much since we've been home. Thursday the day before we left Utah Zachary started to get sick and he's still sick. He's been throwing up and has diarrhea along with a runny nose. Poor guy is so miserable. Well whatever Zachary has I got it Friday night into Saturday and then Allie got it Saturday into Sunday. Todd so far hasn't gotten it LUCKY. And then my mom called to let me know she, my step dad and step brother got it as well. So I feel bad for them. Its not a fun thing and I hope they recover soon!

5 Years!!!

Todd and I just celebrated our 5th anniversary. We had such a great day and are thankful that my mom could watch the kids so we could celebrate. As for what we did, Todd planned a 60 min massage (which was awesome!!), then Todd got his hair cut and I got my nails done (I was suppose to get my hair done too but they wanted to strip my hair and I didn't want to do that so it was a no go). And then in the evening we went out to dinner and then went to see "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" in 3D. It was an awesome movie and super cool in 3D. I have such an amazing husband and I love him so much. We've gone through some rough times over the years but we are happy at the moment and thats all that matters! I am so proud of Todd, he's a wonderful father and husband!!! I love you honey!!!

Seeing the Grandparents

Todd's dad and his wife came to Utah for the Weekend since we were here. It was so nice to see them and for Zachary to finally meet his grandparents on the Mackay side. We were able to go out to lunch with them and at the end of lunch Zach was getting tired so grandma Mackay (she and Brian also came to lunch with us) rocked Zachary to sleep. Its always fun spending time with the grandparents.

The "Yanks" Are Home!

Earlier today Breanna, my dad, Matt & Mandy returned from Australia. I was so excited to see my sister! I haven't seen her since the beginning of February so its been a lot time. And I was happy my dad and brother and Mandy got home too that way we could see them while we were home. I love my family!!!




When M&M where getting ready to leave with the dogs, Allie didnt want them to leave so she climbed into one of the kennels ;p
