Bowling!!!

Last night we were able to go bowling with my brother and sister in law. We all had such a blast!!! Kyler (my nephew) and Allie everytime they had their turn ended up hugging each other. It was so cute. I didn't do too well :( I ended up with a score around 75ish?? Even Allie did better than me HaHa!!!

Our NEW toy :o)

Yes we got another car! In June we got a Nissan Pathfinder but things didn't work out with it so we ended up taking it back (stupid car dealership) but since we were here in Utah we decided to look and we found exactly what we were looking for. We bought a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe and I LOVE it!! I was worried about switching from a small car to a SUV but I didn't have any problems. Its a perfect car, its so roomy and Allie loves the DVD that came with it-which will be great for when we go back home.

Yah For More Fireworks!!!

On Monday, July 25th we headed over to grandma Mackay's for some barbecue and a firework show. I was excited about this because in Colorado we don't celebrate the 24th of July and on the 4th we weren't able to do fireworks at our place so it was fun for Allie and Zachary to see more fireworks (and up close). It was also nice catching up with Todd's family. It's been 5+ months since we've seen them.

Allie was actually scared of the fireworks which really surprised me. Zach on the other hand LOVED watching them.

9 Months!!!

Our little Zachary is 9 months old today! He's growing up so fast and it makes me sad. But he's learning new things every day and makes me proud. He's such a happy baby and we love him so much! I am hoping to get him weighed this week but we only have one car so I don't know if I can so we'll see. But here's what he's been up to this past month:

*Zachary is pulling up on furniture and slowly learning to walk around it
*He is super wiggly now. When I am changing his diaper he tries to get away
*Zachary no longer does the army crawl. He's officially crawling on all fours
*He has 6 teeth. 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. And it looks like more are going to come through soon on the top.
*Zachary still likes baby food but prefers what we eat. Zach tends to go after Allie's food most of the time and Allie doesn't like it ;p
*For some reason he's started liking his binki again (I think he just likes to chew on it since he's teething)
*Zachary is definitely a mama's boy. He usually cries when he cant see me - so pretty much he's at the separation anxiety stage.
*Zachary likes going outside. Whenever we have the front/back door open he makes a go for it.
*Zachary still loves to cuddle especially when he is tired and I'll love it

If you click on the picture you can see his 4 teeth on top. Poor baby boy had a rough week when all 4 came through at the SAME time :(

HAPPY 9 MONTHS BABY BOY!!!

Beary Cool!!!

This week we went to Costco and we happened to pass these huge teddy bears and Todd thought it would be fun to get the kids one. So we did and they love it. And I have to admit I like it too ;p I like to lay on it while I'm in Zachary's room watching the kids play or waiting for Zachary to fall asleep - Its a nice pillow.

Fireworks @ Carson

Fort Carson did fireworks on July 3rd, so we all (dad, Todd, me and the kids) crammed in our car and drove over there and went on base to watch the fireworks. Allie did great with them. Every time one of the big ones made a "boom" sound she'd say "Boom" after it and then smile and laugh. And little Zach man slept through the whole thing in the car, but that's okay because he was one tired baby. I tried to get pictures of the fireworks but my camera didn't take that great of pictures (even on "firework" mode).

What the Hail???

Saturday after we were done with the fountains we went to get lunch. We did notice that there were some rain clouds in the sky but didnt think much of them. Once we got home it started raining and then it started hailing. I've never seen it hail like that before. I wanted to get a picture of one so you could see how big they were and while I ran outside to get one I got hit by one and it left a mark on my shoulder. It hurt so bad for being a small ball of ice.

Fun with Grandpa

My dad came to visit this weekend. We haven't seen him since February so it was fun having him here. Dad arrived here on Friday night so the kids were already asleep. But Saturday morning when they woke up and saw grandpa they were excited (well once Zachary had his bottle he was).


Once we were all dress and ready for the day we took grandpa to the fountains and Allie once again had a blast. This time she had a little accident and was tripped by a girl and fell and scrapped up her knee. After that happened she was pretty much done playing but she's okay and her knee is healing.

What a great day

Today we went to the water fountains that daddy noticed around the movie theater. They are just like the ones at the Gate Way. It was so hot outside we were only there for a little while but Allie still had fun and so did daddy. Zachary just stayed in the stroller and watched and had a bottle. After playing in the water we headed over to Cold Stones and had some yummy ice cream to cool us down. Then we headed back home so mommy could clean the house up before grandpa arrives. We are all excited for him to get here :) We are hoping to take grandpa to the fountains tomorrow.
