Christmas 2014

First Black Eye

This post makes me sad ... last week I went to give Allie a hug to calm her down from one of her freak out tantrums and (I forgot I was holding my phone) I hugged her. Well I carried her to the couch to look at her and talk to her about her behavior and I noticed a red mark under her right eye, turns out when I went to hug her my phone hit under her eye and now she has a black eye do to my phone hitting her. I feel horrible about it! She told me it really didn't hurt but I still can't believe it happened and I feel like crying every time I see her eye.
She did go to school today and everyone was so curious about it. They kept asking what happened. I asked her what she told them and she told me "mommy hit me with her phone but it was an accident." She is such a sweet heart. Its almost gone but I still feel horrible even if it was an accident....

I helped Allie with a school projected and ended up taking over. I glued every sequin on the turkey one by one. It took me over 2 - 2.5 hours to do. Took forever but I love how it turned out!

We went to the PX to get our Honey Baked Ham for Thanksgiving and Sydnee wanted to carry Jessie around with her. It was so cute!!!

Oh Christmas Tree....

We finally got around to decorating our tree this year and as usual, the kids had a blast decorating it. I'm going to have to keep an eye on Sydnee and the cat. Sydnee likes to play with the ornaments and the cat likes to climb up the tree and sleep in it. Silly baby and kitty ... ;p

Big Girl Bed

Well Sydnee just hit another milestone... She has graduated from her crib to a toddler bed. I have been holding off on doing this for a long time and I was very hesitant to do it now because I felt like she wasn't ready and I still feel that way, but since we moved she hasn't been sleeping well at night - well hasn't been going to bed that great and its been pretty hard on me. So I bought a lamp for her room to keep it some what lit a night and now I am hoping she doesn't feel so closed in with the toddler bed. So here is to hoping things get better. But doesn't she look so cute and tiny in the bed :)

M&A Time

Today Allie and I were hanging out on the couch playing with my phone and we decided to take some fun pictures. She and I do that occasionally. She has such a fun personality and I love just hanging out with her.

Thanksgiving 2014

This year we spent Thanksgiving here in Maryland. Todd's brother, Robby and his family drove up here yesterday morning to spend the day/holiday with us. It was nice spending the holiday with them again. We did Thanksgiving with them in Georgia in 2010. We got a Honey Baked Ham again this year and all I can say is yummm!!! Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving!

It snowed today for the first time since we got here and all I can say is BOO!!!!

Beautiful Winter Weather

We had a warm and beautiful winter day yesterday. I couldn't believe how warm it got. It got around 70' which is amazing for this time of year. Too bad it wont stay this warm, it is suppose to snow tomorrow :( But the kids took advantage of the weather and went outside and played on the playground and on their scooters.

2nd Loose Tooth

Allie lost her second tooth and got another $5.00 from the Tooth Fairy. By the time she looses all her teeth she'll be a rich little girl. Doesn't she look super cute without her two front teeth :)
